Hi,
we are benchmarking some hardware configurations. Creo 2.0 m220
Up until now I thought more Memory Modules increase performance or should not decrease it at least.
After about 20 runs with Ocus it looks as if 1 16GB module is faster than 2 and 4 are even slower.
Any ideas why this could happen? Are the parts from Ocus bench to small to utilize the full power?!
Conclusion so far:
disabled HyperThreading gives a small boost.
GPU has little impact (M4000 vs P6000)
CPU Single Core speed is the most important.
We have PCIe SSD, but sensors shows nearly any utilization.

If you are seeing decreased performance from multiple memory cards, then I would suspect the speed of the mother board is your culprit. This can also affect the graphics data going across the board from CPU to GPU.
Check the motherboard speed.
Check the memory cards speed.
Try a 32GB or 64GB single memory card.
It's a Lenovo P710. dual Socket.

Clocks look ok.
