Error message with Windows & 64 bit

I am running Windows 7 (64 bit) and I get s strange error and message every time I go to the directory where my models, drawings are kept. I can open the directory just fine, but when I click on any file, I get a message that Windows Explorer has stopped working and then it shuts down. It is totally repeatable. I cannot get rid of the previous copies of a model or drawing if I want to. I can't even move them to another dirdecory. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, do you have a sloution?

Thanks in advance,

John
