Is it possible to make a family table instance modelflexible in an assembly?
I'm working on a compression spring that has a family table and has 3 instances. Wire diameter, and free height are the main variables that are difference between each instance. I have the print and models working fine. But when I assemble one of the instances into my assembly, I make the instance flexible, and make the height of it, based off of a measurement between the two planes which the spring sits. It works and regenerates just fine. But after I save it and then reopen the assembly up, I get a conflicts box that lists all of the instances that show the as "the object is read only and is not checked out." and the other instances (not in the assembly) have not been successfully verified....even though they wereverified in the generic part before saving it. Is there away around this? Or can you not make a family table instance flexible? Anyone else out there have any luck doing this?
Thanks!
