When you open a file in Creo 4.0, Creo adds the file to the "Recent Files" list. Most softwares, when you reopen a file, brings the newly opened file back to the "top of the list" or the #1 position. Other than an oversight, is there a valid reason why Creo 4.0 is not acting this way? Did it do this in earlier version of Creo?
(We are in the process of switching from WF5.0, so I have no history with earlier versions of Creo.)
Using Windchill (or a PDM system) or native filing?
Wild West - or native filing.
Alt-F (then there is a list of 1-9 and a dozen more un-numbered)
Creo 2 native filing does not reorder the list.
If I open a file from the list it stays in that position.
When I open a file not on the list it goes to the #1 spot and the others move down.
Correct. But if you open an excel file it gets on the list. You open another excel file, the first one moves down to #2. Re-open #2, and it goes to #1. Same thing happens in WF5.0.
