Getting unreachable when adding the floating license server
- We are trying to connect to the floating license server
- I enter the server info after I run the reconfigure tool
- We keep getting the unreachable status after we enter the server info
We may need another license or remote sessions to resolve that status.

Hello @MT_10323207,
Are you able to ping to the license server from user system and vice versa?
Also, can you please confirm if the license server is up and running?
Thanks,
Vipul

Please enlarge the window to display complete error message.

Remove all items using port 27000, FLEXnet for Creo uses port 7788.
What is the name of license server ?
On license server run ptcstatus.bat and publish the output window ... this step shows whether licenses are available.
On license server check whether lmadmin_ptc or FLEXlm server for PTC service is running.
On license server check whether firewall is running. Firewall can block access to licenses. Inbound rules must be defined.

This is the bottom of the error. I believe we have the server configured to use port 27001. I get the same error with 7788, 27000, and 27002 as well.

Hi,
it looks like there is a confusion on your server that cannot be resolved through community discussion. I'm giving up trying to help you.

Agreeing with Martin, filing a licensing case will be more efficient.
Good luck.
