HOW TO KNOW THE REAL WEIGHT OF AN OBJECT

Hello!

In creo parametric how we can see the real weight of a designed oobject, with material properties. I have tried built in option but I am afraid that my settings are not right as the weight is being shown in more numbers than expected. And also as the unit is lbs, but is there a way to see it in kg unit.

Thanks

You can create new materials if the data is incorrect for a similar material.

If you use the Mass data from the Analysis measure, you can set the units to something different from the model properties.

You can test this if you create a small part, for instance, if your mass is n-lbs per inch^3, then your results should be n. Sometimes you have to regenerate the mass properties to have it be correct.
