JRE for Creo
Hi,
just installed Creo 4.0 M100.
We have some J-Link tools, now complaining about missing JRE.
C:\PTC\Creo 4.0\M100\Common Files\x86e_win64\obj\JRE
M070 still had JRE included.
When I copy the JRE folder from M070 to M100 everything works. Is there a way to use the "standard" JRE installed? C:\program files\... JAVA_HOME is set correctly.
Or should I copy the files to C:\PTC\Creo 4.0\M100\Common Files\x86e_win64\obj\JRE
I'd like to use an up-to-date version.
I assume WIndchill will use the version from JAVA_HOME, not Creo folder.

you can set it with PRO_JAVA_COMMAND to e.g. C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_231\bin\java (don't add .exe)
