Multiple clicks to select in Windows 10

On some computers with Windows 10 using Creo 2 M150, clicking to select something gives the smart filter error about holding the ALT key, but this happens even when it should not.  Clicking a few more times will end up performing the selection.  Has anyone else had any experience with this on Windows 10 or otherwise?

We've already tried:

Thanks!

For future researchers, this problem was in two separate cases, related to the use of an hdmi tv as a monitor, or using Creo on a Windows Surface laptop.  Things may have improved since then, I'm just closing this out with the solution from the time.

To select a consecutive group of files or folders, click the first item, press and hold down the Shift key, and then click the last item.
To select multiple files or folders that are near each other, drag the mouse pointer to create a selection around the outside of all the items that you want to include.
To select non-consecutive files or folders, press and hold down the Ctrl key, and then click each item that you want to select.
To select all of the files or folders in a window, on the toolbar, click Organize, and then click Select all. If you want to exclude one or more items from your selection, press and hold down the Ctrl key, and then click the items.
To select multiple files or folders by using check boxes:
1.Open Folder Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, and then clicking Folder Options.
2.Click the View tab.
3.Select the Use check boxes to select items check box, and then click OK.

Thanks for your reply, but this has nothing to do with the Windows file system.  This is referring to the Creo model space only.

hello, you could try to set the Windows scale to 100%. If it is set to e.g. 125% I have some difficulties to select Items in Creo.
