Nvidia Graphics Control Panel

Hello,

I just got my new Dell precision T5500 PC with an Nvidia Quadro FX 3800
graphics card. I wanted to set the Nvidia control panel to be optimized
for Pro/E, however I don't see a choice for Pro/E. it seems that I can
be set for Autodesk products or Catia, but not Pro/E or Solidworks, the
programs I use all the time. In fact, when I go into the 'Program
Settings' area, it doesn't even show Pro/E or SW as being installed on
my PC!

It says I'm using driver version 191.75, is there a better driver for
this card with Pro/E?

Doug,

I have the same card and looked into this a little. It seems that PTC
shows the FX 3800 series as a Supported Card but not a Certified Card.
What makes a graphics card certified? I have no clue. I don't know if
PTC is going to certify this card or what the process involves.

Maybe we need to call PTC support and ask them.

In my experience, when setting a graphics card to Pro/E, showed
improvements in performance. I would expect the FX3800 to be a powerful
card and don't know why it's not Certified for Pro/E yet.
