Outdated files are populating Windows 7 desktop

Outdated files are populating Windows 7 desktop

Wildfire 5.0, Windchill 9.1


Several Pro/E users that had their OS upgraded to Windows 7 started to get their desktops populated with outdated text files from Pro/E.


How can this be avoided? Is there a config.pro to set the path for these files?

Could be the shortcuts to start pro/e. If the icon is on the desktop,
and the starts-in setting of the shortcut points to a place that does
not exist, (or to the desktop) some files may start being written to the
desktop. Such as std.out, and uwgm.log files.
