I am trying to write a mapkey to place a table.
From reading this post:
I find that "recording keyboard input" records and will use forever what the user writes.
When writing the mapkey and the "Select Point" menu pops up, I click on the "Absolute Coordinates" button, type a value for X & Y, click "OK" and finish the map key.
When executing the mapkey, it stops at the absolute coordinates X value and is waiting for me to type in a value. If I type in the values for X & Y that I typed in while writing the mapkey and press "OK" it properly replaces the table.
My question is if I use "Record keyboard input" instead of the other two choices, why does it stop for input. (The table in this case always show up in the same place when updating older drawings.)
Thanks, Dale

Something must have been wrong during the first writing of the mapkey. It was tried again and worked as expected.
