Question creo2 old show/erase

we are in a creo2 update class
once we erase an axis is there a way to show the axis again?
is the only setting in the drawing.dtl?
is there a config option that allows us to show previously erased axis?

thanks bunches!
Terry

I think you need to ‘Delete’ the axis first (Not the real delete, which is forever) then you can show it again.

I think I remember that you need to use the tree - expand the views and RMB
on the hidden item - this was a learned lesson for me with dimensions - I
assume that axes are the same? Sorry I cannot try it right now.

You must bring them back from the new drawing tree.

With the new Creo behavior it is best to always delete dimensions instead of erasing them.

There are a couple of options available to automatically delete erased dimensions and axes. Enter the values in the Detail options (File > Prepare > Drawing Properties > Detail Option).

user_command delete_erased_dimensions
user_command delete_erased_axes
