Hello PTC users,
We have a lot of use for “cutting” surfaces using texts in the sketches and now PTC no longer support it (see attached). Is there a good work around aside from creating a datum sketch and using edges for the extrude feature? Linking a sketch with text for the extrude does not work as well.
Just updated to Wildfire 5.0 (date code M040) and found another classic case of “What PTC giveth, PTC taketh away”.
