is there a way to change the balloon text height seperate from text height? i have looked in drawing options, as well as config options. w

There isn't a separate default for ballon text height, no. Consider making the balloons, then using the selection filter (in the Annotate tab) to pick them all at once (or maybe the Find dialog), and then making them the desired height en masse.
ok.. thats what i thought.. been using creo for a little over 2 weeks now.. coming from intralink.. and there are things like this.. that bug me.. we were able to set our balloons different in intralink.
