layer control on drawing and part to be the same?

Good morning,
We are on Creo 2.0 and notice that the setting where if you save a
layer status in the drawing the model will not follow no more. Also notice
it in Assembly too. Is there a config option that will let the layer status
follow each other instead of being different?

Thanks.

It's a .DTL file setting: draw_layer_overrides_model YES should get you what you want. Change the drawing templates. Unfortunately, any drawings created with it set to NO will have to be changed manually. (Or via mapkey that pulls in a modified .DTL file.)

That's typically managed at the drawing level for what you are trying to do. I believe that Model Check would be the way for you to control layers in assembly and part files. CLARIFICATION : Model Check would be a tool that you could use to standardize your files.
