Edit-in-Word: How to avoid publishing shared items?

Hello,

I'm currently using Integrity 10.6. I quite often use the Edit-In-Word feature for the entire document, However when publishing the changes made, it always gets stuck at the items which are "shared".

Is there a possibility for the Editor to skip the publishing of an item whenever the reference mode is shared?
