I recently worked through the TWX Steam Sensor example, where data is sent to a TWX instance and you can bind it to a things properties and watch the data come in. It was very straightforward and seemed like a logical way to handle data. I now have an application, where I am working with another individual who is sending up data from a remote thing in the form of an alert. The data is not bound directly to the properties by the click of a button like in the example, but instead a service is required to separate the data coming in and point it to its corresponding property. Although this works, it does not seem like the best practice. I would like program on the device to send data like the Steam sensor example, because it is very easy to manage. Does anyone have any advice on which way is better? Thanks for the help!
