Good day community,
I have an issue on my mashup.
On the Line Chart widget you have the option 'ShowDataLoading'. If this box is unchecked then:
In ThingWorx 9.4.0 when the data refreshes the chart flashes, which disrupts the view of the chart.
However, In ThingWorx 9.3 when the data refreshes that chart is not interrupted and the new data is just added in, this is definitely preferred over the screen flashing in 9.4.
Can this be changed back to how it use to be displayed in 9.3?
I am not sure if this issue occurs on other chart types.
There were changes in 9.4 to the loading icon and error indicator, maybe this change effected the do not show data loading option. It appears as if the loading icon has a white background, and this background is still shown even when the loading page is not meant to be shown.
Best Regards.
Hi @Janicen, are you adding the values in a high frequency in both 9.3 and 9.4 with the same testing assets (same things and data with the same frequency)?
How about lower the refresh frequency a little bit?
I tried manually adding values in 9.4, but it seems there is no flash.
Hi @CharlesJi . The values are getting added at the same frequency in both 9.3 and 9.4.
Here are some gif depicting the screen flashes.
Hi,
Any updated on this? Even we are facing the same issue.
We are also having this same issue with a line chart on version 9.4. I have not found a work around yet.
Hi everyone.
A fix for this is included in the 9.4.1 release due out any day now.
Regards.

In 9.4.1 the issue is not fixed.
When the chart loads the entire chart widget disappears or goes transparent.
Whereas in 9.3.x the data just updates seamlessly.
