Edit a Grid Using a Dropdown

Hi all,

I have a mashup where I want to be able to edit a grid widget's data using a fixed dropdown of values.

For reference, this mashup grid has Numbers which are correlated to a Name. I want to be able to edit the Name using a set dropdown of values instead of the built in 'edit' which allows for changing the string by typing. Are there any easy ways to do this? My initial thought is to maybe have clicking a row take the user to an edit popup but would rather it be as easy as just having a dropdown right inside the table cell that should be editted if possible. Any ideas?
