Indeed custom your own chart widget is not so easy, please refer to the documentation attached below to develop your own widget:

Or, do you consider to use Thingworx custom chart widget? You could download them from: https://marketplace.thingworx.com/Items/custom-chart-widget

it also provides different ways to display your data( Line chart,  Bar chart, Time Series chart)
