How do I pass a mashup parameter to a mashup in a menu?

I have a double layer menu, the first menu just opens the second which contains 3 menu items, all mashups needing a parameter passed to them. I don't see an option to bind any parameters to the menu so how do I pass the mashup parameters when using menus?

It is not possible to pass parameters to a menu. Parameters can be passed from a mashup to an embedded/contained mashup.

To a menu no, but you can build a "boiler plate" mashup which has all desired parameters and bind values to it. Then when you select the Menu option the corresponding mashup will load with the desired parameters.
