You can add up a Expression widget that returns a String on your Mashup and add this Expression to it:
(location.href.split("&")[0].split("=")[1])
This will give you your master mashup name.

I need a service that returns the name of master in use, but I did not find a function in the snippets that could return that result.
You cannot get the binding programmatically; the only way I can think of, out of the box, is to look at the URL query as described in my past reply.
You could generally look at your URL query to see the name of the master mashup:
