How to retrieve text of the current item selected in a dropdown-list-widget?

hey everyone,

I am currently working with the drop-down-list-widget. The list-widget contains a few strings and everytime I select a string in the list-widget, I want to use

this string to do further work. But it seems that there is no binding option for retrieving this string.

Is it somehow possible to retrieve the text of the current selected item?

Hi Theresa Lichtenberger​,

The selected text is available from Selected Row(s)->Property_Name of Service feeding the DropDownList. I am referring to the service available in the Right Panel.
