I am getting an error while installing PostgreSQL for Thingworx7

Hi Prashant, which version of  PostgreSQL, underlying OS and the ThingWorx server are you using?

Hi Prashant Kumar Agrawal​,

First of all make sure you are installing 64 bit version of Postgresql on 64 bit Server.

Also, run the Postgresql installer as Administrator by Right clicking on the file and selecting Run as Administrator option.

Prashant, you are on non supported OS and PostgreSQL versions. Please check the http://support.ptc.com/WCMS/files/171020/en/ThingWorx_Core_7.2_System_Requirements_1.pdf for supported OS and PostgreSQL. You need server grade OS for Windows and 9.4.5 for PostgreSQL( 9.5 for PostgreSQL is currently not supported)
