Is Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 required?

Hello, 

I was wondering if Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 is required for Thingworx to run. I'm being asked to uninstall it because it has been obsoleted, but I just want to make sure that uninstalling it will not break Thingworx.

Hi,

Microsoft Visual C++ is required for Edge, .NET SDK, installer (also Postgres installer), ADO client etc.

We recommend at least Miscrosoft Visual c++ 2012, so you can upgrade it.
