It is possible to implement Thingworx login with RFID reader?

Hi, we would like to implement Thingworx login through RFID reader's or barcode reader's, Basically we don't want to enter username and password.

If both RFID & barcode is not possible, Then kindly suggest some other solution for Login.

the challenge is that the RFID or Bar Code reader would only provide the User Name not the password.

If you are in a closed system and are not worried about people using other people's IDs then what you can potentially do is to have that ID read forwarded to another system that then processes it as either an authenticator would and provides a sort of sso token to log a person into Thingworx or have that go into a system that matches a password to the ID and brings that back which then forwards into Thingworx.

Hi PaiChung,

Sorry for the delayed response. Yes I understand the concern about the ID's can be misused by others, but even though we want to implement this system for fast login. Our concept is when RFID/HID reads the new card it contains username, it should check with existing users list in Thingworx, If both username is matches then it allow to login.

If the above method is possible, Kindly guide us how to implement the solution
