That's good point to start with . You can also look for some Thingworx videos from PTC University , that can help you get going with thingworx.
In addition, here's a link to the ThingWorx Developer eSupport Portal, which serves as a central hub. That has links to tutorials (both text and video), reference documents, the knowledge base etc.
