What is the limit of values we can show in dropdown of list widget?

Once we selected the value from dropdown of list widget, the text in list widget is editable. How to make the list widget non editable and user should have option only to select from dropdown. How to do this?? On clicking a button, how to reset list to its default value?

Which version of ThingWorx are you running?  The more recent versions of ThingWorx will do what you need.  We're not sure there's a limit on the number of values displayed.  What are you seeing?

In regard to resetting the list to its default value, can you clarify what you mean?  Are you referring to resetting the list to the original list of values when you opened the mashup or is there an explicit list of values that would remain the same for any user?
