Hi Folks,
I want to lock/restrict Header row of Data Export CSV,so that once a user download the file,he shouldn't be able to edit it.
1) Header Row non-editable:-
--Infotable (Datashape) is defined
--Data Export button event downloads corresponding infotable's CSV file
---> Now,user should start inserting/modifying values starting from 2nd row only.
2) Default values in 1st Row of downloaded CSV file.
--Once the User downloads a CSV file, he should get default values in the 1st row(after Header row).
Is it possible anyway?
please revert if anyone has ever tried this or I shall raise a ticket at PTC support?
Thanks,
Tarun
This is something that would need to be done with custom extensibility. I'm attaching documentation on custom java extension development with ThingWorx. You may also try reaching out to Global Services and they could provide a solution for you, however, there would be a fee. If you do wish to go the Global Services route, please contact your sales representative.
