Hi,
I have written a Oracle Driver extension to connect to Oracle DB. But getting error while importing the extension itself.
Following is the error :
Error importing: error: Not Acceptable - [package: Oracle_ExtensionPackage1, error: \ThingworxStorage\extensions\Oracle_ExtensionPackage1_e4c6cd52-524f-47a8-b328-f89710819d58\Oracle_ExtensionPackage1\metadata.xml (The system cannot find the file specified)]
Thanks
Priyanka
In the Marketplace we now have a JDBC Extension builder (extension) that facilitates all this, but the error seems to point to the fact that for some reason it can't find the metadata.xml file within the extension package, please double check your package.
Hi Chung,
thanks for the reply, but the metadata.xml file does exists in the extension i have created.
My extension(OracleExtension.zip file) contains
1.metadata.xml file and
2. folder structure lib->common->Driver.jar file
If you are pretty confident that the extension is setup correctly. Perhaps test deploying it on a different Thingworx server to see if it works.
Else maybe submit it to Tech Support at support.ptc.com for help.
