Pushing Notification to Android devices?

Can anybody provide overview of how to push an notification from Thingworx server to Android devices?

Hello, are you using the Android SDK for your remote devices? It should be as simple as calling a remote service on a remote thing which is bound to an active edge device, in that case.

We are using Android SDK and are able to connect our Android device to Thingworx Server. Wanted to know how do we notify from a remote Thing service.

Wait so you are notifying the Edge of something which is happening on the Platform? Or vice versa?
