REST service failure Thing. Thing is not running.

Hello Everyone ,The remote thing is getting disconnected automatically. Please tell me what should I do to stop that ? when I  try to connect industrial Thing  it is Showing "Attempt To Write Property [IndustrialThing] Failed - Thing Not Running " 

version is 9.3.16

Hi @VasuDevan  Can you check the Active flag of thing?

 The fact that the Things become disconnected when modified in Composer is not unusual, given that the Things should be Remote Things and that they are normally edited in an offline state rather than when they’re actively updated by the edge.

Hi @Surya_Tiwari  Yes. The Active flag is set to true. However, the thing is still getting disconnected. In Case When I try to connect industrial thing it is Showing "Attempt To Write Property [IndustrialThing] Failed - Thing Not Running " .

Please check some of the following pointers

1)Can you please check the isconnected property of remote thing to check if its still connected or it got disconnected? 

2)Can you try to edit the remote thing and just save it back it will make the connection again and than monitor the isconnected and lastconnection properties.

3) Can you also check if there is any error on your industrial connection side (i.e kepware etc)

Can you please share the logs if possible at the time of occurrence of the issue to check the reason of disconnection?

I have Checked  isconnected property of remote thing is disconnected. I have edited and saved remote thing after that also isconnected Property is disconnected.

In Kepware side every thing is fine, 

When I Check Thingworx Application log, I found that it is Showing error like "error executing APIRequest Message: Thing  is not running, sending ERROR ResponseMessage to caller!".

Just to debug it further , can you please create a new remote thing or try to duplicate remote thing and add any test property to check if you are getting values on that particular thing. This can atleast make us to identify where the exact issue lies.
