Show text in autocomplete widget as current scroll top in grid widget

hey everyone!

I have binded some data to the autocomplete widget (strings). If I am choosing one of the names, I want that the grid shows that entry (with the name) at the top.

Is that anyhow possible? I have already tried to write a static function (with a helperthing) which returns the text of the autocomplete widget. I binded that output with the scrolltop of the grid,

but then I have noticed that it needs a number.  But I do not know how I can retrieve the correct index to the given name.

This is not possible with the autocomplete widget. Please note that the extension has been tested and certified by ThingWorx, however is not currently supported. It's provided in ‘as-is’ condition.
