The new Grid widget in 9.3

Hi all,

Do anyone know why the Double-Clicked event has been removed from the Grid widget???

This basically makes us unable to upgrade from 9.1 to 9.3 as we are using it quite a lot for navigation in mashups!!

Double-Clicked event would be very helpful.

Agree!

And just the fact that it was removed from the "old" Advanced Grid without any notice is even worse

Hi @rogerjn and @JU_10321794.

Please provide details of your uses cases in which the double-clicked event would be used.  Once you have done so, R&D will take another look for possible consideration in a future release.

Regards.

1:Well, in general double-click is very useful.

2:if you want to be able to select an item in the grid and have a fast way to navigate. double-click is the way to go.

3:Easy to explain to end user, because end users are used to it

It was implemented in the Grid Advanced.

Thank you, @JU_10321794.

I have passed along your comments to R&D.

Hi @slangley ,

Have you heard anything from R&D on this? This is really useful event (say for launching some action on double click event).

With the introduction of new Grid version we lost DoubleClicked event and we are having difficulty launching same actions which we were using earlier.

Thanks,

Shirish

HI @ShirishMorkhade.

At this point, the ticket with R&D is in backlog for a future release.  I will monitor and update the community as more information becomes available.

Regards.
