i follow the same steps, tomcat installed normally but once i deploy the tingworx, tomcat stops and never start, it giver waiting for local host once i put http://localhost:8080

please advise

Hi Khalil,

Please let us know your ThingWorx version, Tomcat version as well as Java version.

If the tomcat stopped, did you get any error message in Tomcat log?

From what you discribed, I doubt that your server is running out of memory. Please check ThingWorx   ThingWorx Core 7.3 System Requirements

It is Tomcat9 and ThingWorx 7.2.My laptop RAM is 12Mbyte core i7 CPU.Please advice

Hi Khalil,

As far as I know, the Recommended Minimum Hardware for ThingWorx 7.2 is:

• Memory: 16 GB
• CPUs: 4 Cores
• Disk Type: Server-class hardware is recommended
• Disk Space: 100GB
• Disk Speed: 10000 RPM or SSD

Required Software

• Oracle JDK 1.8.0 (64-bit)
• Tomcat 8.0.33

I suggest you to use Tomcat 8.0.33 and if still not work, increase memory to 16GB.

By the way, you also can check Tomcat Catalina.log and tomcat8/9-stderr.log. If there is any error, please let me know.
