Thingworx Integration with custom ERP

Hello everybody.. I'm planning to do an integration with an ERP (Not sap) so my question is... Can i use the same pattern used in PTC Navigate Apps (Resources Providers, Resources Managers, etc)  or do i have to find another way to achieve this?
