Where is thingworx-raspberry-pi-quickstart ?
Hi
I have noticed that recently one of the quickstart guides just vanished from developer portal?
Does anyone know what happened with http://developer.thingworx.com/guides/thingworx-raspberry-pi-quic…
Thanks

Hi,
I'm following this guide in the hopes of connecting my RaspberryPi to Thingworx. I got as far as creating the config.json file - however, my Thingworx platform is hosted on my computer, rather than the Thingworx server.
Can you please tell me what I am supposed to write in the "ws_servers" part of the config.json file?
Also, the following step says to type:
Ls -la
-rwxrwxr-x 1 pi pi 769058 Jun 9 17:46 wsems
I assume I am supposed to hit return after the initial Ls -la command, as it's not possible to enter multiple lines in a command prompt without hitting return after the first line. However, that just produces the following line:
bash: Ls: command not found
Please could you let me know what I am supposed to do in this situation?
If you need any more information, let me know. Assume little knowledge of Thingworx as I only started using it a few weeks ago. Any assistance will be massively appreciated!!
Best regards,
Charlotte

Hi,
After trying for much longer than I'd care to admit, I realised it must've been a typo on the guide and used lower case. Thanks for also clearing that up for me!
It seems the second problem I'm having is something to do with security settings on my work laptop - Symantec Protection is blocking any other devices from connecting with the ports on my laptop. I've tried using local host and it didn't work, but once I get the security problem sorted I'll give localhost another go. Thank you!

generally if you are using the same machine, security should not be a problem...
Are you using secure connection ? SSL?

The raspberry pi is a different machine - due to a block on the VPN I'm using, I cannot access the pi through my laptop

Hello,
You can find a quick guide on how to connect a raspberry pi to ThingWorx here. Please note that the instructions have not been updated for TW 8.2 yet.
