"A java exception has occurred" while executing Academic Edge Connector

I am getting the message "A java exception has occurred" while trying to execute Academic Edge Connector.exe. I have java version 7 update 51. Any help to resolve this is appreciated.

Hi Kumar, could you specify bit more detail as to where exactly you are seeing this issue? Are there any logs that could be evaluated?

Thanks for the reply. I getting the error when I double click on "Academic Edge Connector.exe". The application doesn't even open and no logs available. This is issue is only on my Windows machine. It works fine on MacBook.

Hi Kumar,

Can you please install the latest version of Java(https://java.com/en/download/) on you machine and then try to install Academic Edge connector.exe file. Let us know if you still face the Java exception.
