thingworx analytics API quickstart gives a danger warning "Detected misleading site"

Using Google Chrome when pressing button with link: https://developer.thingworx.com/dashboard, the site responds with a message to wait and then after a while it gives danger warning "Detected misleading site". Cybercriminals on 34.248.107.22 are possibly trying to mislead you to do something dangerous like software installation or publish your personal information.

Hi Derek-Jan do you mean just by visiting the Dashboard on that page you have that message? I tried checking but for me there is no such message, could you share screenshot? If you are getting this persistently I would strongly recommend you to please open a support case, with security as technical area.

Hi Sushant,

Sorry, the link I pasted above is from the dashboard indeed. I thought was the link of the "Analytics API Quickstart" "START" button. I tried it again today, but this message persists. When checking the details of the error message (it is in Dutch language), it says that Google Safe Browsing detected phishing on this particular IP address. Is this safe?developer_thingworx_com_analytics_error.png

Thanks for sharing this Derek-Jan, do you have a phishing filter installed/enabled on Google Chrome? ThingWorx.com is running over secured connected with HTTPS so i am not sure if somehow the phishing filter is considering this as unsafe due to the private certificate.

Are you seeing this issue on all the web browsers?

Hi Sushant,

I tried in Microsoft Edge, but I get same warning. If you are 100% sure that it is safe, I could obt to continue.

I tried checking this over different network both in and out of our internal organization but can't seem to reproduce this warning. While entering the url are you using the http:// or https:// , because there is an automatic redirect if you'd try to use http to https. Not sure if that some how cause this alert. Have you tried accessing this url from outside the network where you are seeing this alert currently?
