I think this should be possible also in trial version- when the experience is published with the offline checkbox. This setting is a specific value of a particular project and is not related to the experience service
A second thing is the permissions - is the experience public or requires credential. If an experience is set as nonpublic (require credentiasl and you have no info about them) then you cannot access it in Vuforia view.
When you could retrieve an experience project (because it is public or you have the credential for it) then you can download it only if it was published with the offline checkbox.
