Does Studio support SP3D or Aveva PDMS 3D model?

SCO customers are getting more interested in AR and 3D plant. Both Intergraph SmartPlant 3D and AVEVA PDMS are popular in process industry plants. So many customers from these plants want to import their 3D models developed by those software into Studio.

Does Studio support these kind of model format? Or how could we do to import them into Studio?

Hello,

Vuforia Studio supports these 3D file formats :

http://support.ptc.com/help/vuforia/studio/en/#page/Studio_Help_Center%2FSupportedCADFileFormats.html%23

I looked to Intergraph SmartPlant 3D.

It seems that it is possible to export in step or iges file formats.

These file formats are supported in Vuforia Studio.

Source of information :

http://www.intergraph.com/assets/pdf/SPIOP_2015R1_3DModelFormatsandFiles.pdf

I didn't find a similar document about Aveva PDMS 3D but I guess an export in step or iges should be possible too.

Does this answer to your question ?

Best regards
