Adding Attribute to Visualization and attribute/General/System area

Is it possible to add  "Attribute" to Visualization and attribute/General/System area through configuration? (May be possible through coding, I want to confirm will be made it via configuration)

Yes you can.

Type&Attribute management is the right place.

For each subtype you can define specific layout with attributes what you need
