Customize New Promotion Request UI to deletesteps 5and 6

My bad this is the one classic wizard sort of to support collectors and wgms. I have read it'll change in 10.

Anyway, a search with agent ransack shows me the URL template processor and action classes are defined in com/ptc/windchill/enterprise/maturity/maturity.properties

Take a look at that file if you need help understanding it. Let me know as PTC doesn't support customization to it.

Interesting information. I was hoping to be able to modify the step 3 for editing objects in order to display a Soft Attribute but it is looking more complicated than planned.

Randy/Dave did you go any further with your customization? did you find a solution as I am interested really. I need to make a call quick otherwise I will have to implement my steps in the Workflow.

No I think assistance was required in deciphering the maturity.properties
file. It is probably going to be an advanced customization unless its done
with javascript. I don't have the time right now to provide a generic piece
of code for everyone, so workflow changes are probably the best call for
now.

I was/am unable to figure out how the maturity.properties file (that Dave
pointed me to) controls the New Promotion Request UI. So I haven't achieved
what I was wanting to. I did open a call with PTC on this issue and
the response was:

I have investigated as well Dave and Randy, plus the non supported element, so I am opting for a Workflow customization as well.

CustomTask in order to edit a value for the IBA etc...fun but maybe a quiet reliable way of managing it.
