Deleting used objects in Intralink 9.1

Back in Intralink 3.x as an Administrator I was able to just delete
objects even if they were in use by other objects.

Now in Windchill Intralink 9.1 it refuses to delete an object if it is
used by other objects (even when I'm orgadmin).
You'll first have to disconnect it from the other objects or delete the
other objects as well.

Are there any settings where I can overrule this and still be able to
delete used objects?
All I want Intralink to do is to remove the association to the objects
it is used in and then delete the object.

I know the impact of deleting objects which are in use by other objects,
so I'm not waiting on replies that I should not want to do such a thing.

Thanks in advance,

When your object was associated or linked to an object without
iterations, after removing from it you can delete your initial object.
For example, a WTdocument as Affected Data in an ECR can be deleted
after removing from the ECR.

When linking and unlinking involves checkout/checkin, you have to purge
the containing object in order to delete the initial object. For
example, a EPMdocument associated to a WTPart involves an extra
interation for the WTPart. After disassociating the EPMdocument, you
have to purge the WTPart in orde to delete the EPMdocument.

Since this is quiet laborious, I defined a special folder only seen by
orgadmin, so these objects are out-of-sight for the users.

Met vriendelijke groeten,
Kindest regards,
