Enhancement Requests

I submitted an enhancement to provide us the ability to add the Location column to a search results page. That still shows Not Available...even though it's in 9.1. There are a few other enhancements I submitted that state Not Available which are available in a later version and build than we are on.

So it doesn't seem they keep the enhancements updated.

What really is discouraging is that they put out 9.1 C000 in Sept 2008. I submitted the request in May of 2009. No mention of it in the request. I didn't find out until just last week it was in 9.1 from someone on this exploder list.

I guess PTC really doesn't look at the enhancement list since they don't update it.

The enhancement stuff from PTC is weird. I just had one closed last
week that I submitted back in 2008 (Add ability to select many items to
"Send To PDM" from ProjectLink folder).

The annoying point is that in the closure it says it was added in
release 9.0 of Windchill....which was released quite a while ago.

Don't know what to say, but I do believe PTC is working on "fixing" the
old enhancement process.
