How to replace product creator in PDMLink

Hi,

I have created a product container. In "created by" field, my name is appearing. But, I want to delete my user id and display other person from the organization as the creator.

Please let me know if there is any solution for it.

You have to select context details from the navigator bar, then in the actions you can modify owner.

You have to be org admin or at least context manager to modify these attributes.

Product  "Created By" field cannot be changed as it is an identity attribute.

The "Created By" field could be changed by modifying the pdmlinkproduct database table. Certainly try this on a test server first...

The pdmlinkproduct table has 2 wtuser fields one of which would be the owner and the other the creator. Simply find the wtuser ida2a2 (from the wtuser table) of the person you want to show in the "Created By" and change the appropriate wtuser field in pdmlinkproduct. If the owner and creator are already different then you could tell which field is which otherwise you just have to change one of the fields and see which "field" in the ui gets changed.

The 2 wtuser fields to look at are ida3b2containerinfo and ida3e2containerinfo. Which you can tell because the previous field identifies these as wt.org.WTUser.
