Not able to delete a folder from Vault Configuration.

Hi,

Am trying to delete a folder (and eventually a replica site itself) from Vault Configuration window. On deleting a replica folder (under Replica Folders under a replica site), the system gives me this notice:

Can not remove Replica folder, it contains Cached items.

What is the way out to delete the replica folder?

You cannot delete a folder that has items that have not been sync'd back to the master site (ie there are cached items).

You will need to force a SYNC of all data back to the master site:

From a Windchill shell run jconsole and connect to the main methodserver process shown in the listing window.

Select the MBean Tab and then open the com.ptc / monitors / CacheVaultSynchronizer / Operations and press the button for sysForceSync in the RHS pane.

If this complete successfully you will be able to delete the folder
