We are going to start allowing limited access into our PDMLink for people who do contract work for us. I know some companies allow access into PDMLink without going through a VPN. My IT department does not like this idea. Can someone explain how companies are doing this and if it is safe? What setup works the best??
Personally I don't like the VPN because when youconnectinto one (at our company anyway) it cuts everything else off - no internet, sometimes no license servers and some other stuff that is needed when you are running Pro\E. Is there a better way?
