ECN users took the leave with out delegating their task to others. For that I need query to find out the ECN list based on the user assigned for their roles.
Is there any one having query handy / inputs on this highly appreciated.
The easiest way is to do this an advanced search on Workitem where you add "Role" to the search criteria. If you then add "Name" (where the name is the name of the task you are looking for) and/or "Owner" and "Status" where Status is not equal to Complete, then you can just use Search and then as an administrator you can even reassign search results as long as they are in the same context. You cannot reassign items from different contexts in one step - you need one step per context, but as many workitems in the same context as you want.
If you ECN tasks are named differently than other workflow tasks, then this is easy and you don't have to worry about tasks that are not for ECNs. We were very careful not to have any two tasks in any workflow with exactly the same name so that searching and reporting will not incorrectly merge different types of primary business objects when we look for a particular task name.
You can use query builder, but this is better since you can reassign from the search results. You might have to resort to Query Builder if you have many different workflows for different objects all using tasks with the same task name.

Agreed. This is much better than using query builder.

I couldn't pick the workitem from object type in advanced search even though i set the workitem class in "All Applicable Object Types Search" under "Search" in preference manager.
Is there any recommendations for resolving this issue?
Mike's instructuion is accurate and should resolve the issue if you follow it.
Thanks
