yes, you add it to the modeled type.
softtypes will use these colums as well as the modeled type itself (if creating an attribute as standard attribute),
note that a double NEEDS/USES an additional long for storing precision (bit strange design imho)

Is it possible to execute the AddColumns command to add String columns to my WTPart soft type? Or must I add the columns to the WTPart class because my soft type isn't modeled? If the latter is the case then can my soft type use the columns added to the parent WTPart?
